![]() ![]() I don't know what percentage of guys are caught by the "room" seeing them do something. ![]() The tapes are in general something that only backs up what one sees live. Second of all the system set up to punish wrong doers, is pretty well sided with the casino anyhow. First of all like I said when you see it on the TV screen, it LOOKS GOOD. Point is they don't NEED it for a couple very important reasons. So you will never have great quality type of this video. Tommy another thing to consider is that to get broadcast quality footage lighting, and a whole host of things comes into play. It wasn’t until some girl rated and explained the scam that they understood it. They had to send the film to experts and they could not see anything wrong. They knew something was going on because the take had dropped and watched the dealers for months, but could not nail what they were doing. Now they was talking to the security at one casino, where the a scam had gone on. I was watching a TV documentary “The Worlds Greatest Gambling Scams.” or something like that. Why do they hide what they are seeing in a back room and not allow anyone in to see how wonderful it is, if it really is that good. The casinos have a vested interested in promoting the notion that their security is wonderful, because if everyone believes it, no ever even tries to beat it. While the hand has never been faster than the human eye, is it faster than a digital eye? When I have seen casino footage on TV and so on it's actually never been very good quality. It is just that the operators are using CCTV that is not as good at capturing sleight of hand as we might think, perhaps. Moreover you guys are as good or better than the guys in the EYE room at nailing moves so you could Play the the part of the EYE guys so to speak and tell me if the move would fly by looking at the film. What I am thinking is if I can beat mt Sony Digital camera then then I should be able to beat the EYE as there CCTV is no better than I what I have got. The more I look into the facts about digital CCTV the more I think its crap. ![]() What does that mean? I think it means my man has something and think the digital systm they now have in is casiono can now beat by sleight of hand. It might have to consider this reliance in the near future." Familiarity and past performance may be a barrier for the gaming industry. Few digital systems today can perform at this level. Not only do digital systems need to capture and record video at real-time 30 fps, they also need to be able to be reviewed at comparable 4 CIF image sizes. Surveillance officials within the gaming industry are hesitant to trade viewing full-screen video clips, for 2 CIF, baseball card-size video clips, which is what is available with most real-time digital systems today. However, the truth is that doing it across several hundred cameras, and at a resolution that can easily been reviewed, is a different story altogether. Certainly, there are many systems that claim this ability. "Then, there is the challenge of recording multiple cameras at real-time frame rates. ![]()
